Putah Creek Project
The Putah Creek Project is a Freshman and Sophomore (and Junior-Senior) research program to monitor the water quality in the Arboretum Waterway, which is the old North Fork of Putah Creeks and to characterize links among hydrologic, atmospheric, physical, and human processes. We measure a variety of water properties and use these data to investigate how the Arboretum Waterway behaves as a system. Our data are used by campus to evaluate the effects of efforts to improve water quality.
