Education
I
am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Geophysics at the University of California,
Davis.
I
previously attended the University of Delaware (2000-2004) where I earned a
B.S. in Physics and a minor in Art (concentration in painting...see below for a
link to artwork).
Research
Ph.D.
Advisor: Dr. Magali
I. Billen
I am currently working on numerical
models of Slab Detachment, a subduction zone process
during which part of a subducting plate detaches,
particularly when a spreading ridge encounters the trench. Some general information about our
numerical modeling of subduction dynamics can be
found on Dr. Billen's website under Current
Research Projects, and below is a link to presented results.
