The Ecogeomorphology course is co-taught by Professors Jeffrey Mount and Peter Moyle. Drs Mount and Moyle jointly hold the University of California Presidential Chair in Undergraduate Education.
Jeffrey Mount teaches in the Department of Geology and is the Director of the UC Davis Center for Watershed Sciences. His expertise is in fluvial geomorphology, river restoration
and issues of public policy and river and stream management. He holds
the Roy Shlemon Chair in Applied Geosciences. 
Peter Moyle teaches in the Department of Wildlife, Fish and Conservation Biology and is Associate Director of the UC Davis Center for Watershed Sciences. He is an expert in the ecology and biology of freshwater, anadromous and estuarine fishes and has played a major role in guiding the management of native fishes in the west.
